How to Install ejabberd software package in Debian 7 (Wheezy)

ejabberd software package provides distributed, fault-tolerant Jabber/XMPP server written in Erlang, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ejabberd 

ejabberd is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ejabberd package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ejabberd *

You will get with ejabberd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
